2020 Strong

That you, your loved ones, and our church family will flourish the way God intended as we step into a new year and align ourselves with Him. Read more below.

These initiatives are not about us being strong, but rather calling on God in the midst of our weakness, because His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). The only qualification is weakness. Welcome to the church family.

We are starting the decade by seeking God through prayer and fasting as we join in the prayer of David, “You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you…” (Psalm 63:1)

In January, our Sanctuary will be open for prayer on Tuesdays from 5-10am and on Wednesdays from 7-8pm (beginning Jan 7th and 8th). Join us. You’ll also be hearing options for fasting from Pastor Nathan and our team on Sundays.

Our primary commission from God as the church is to make disciples. In 2020, we are encouraging everyone to pick up a copy of Discipleship Essentials by Greg Ogden.

1. Buy the book. We’ll give you a copy if you it’s cost prohibitive. Just pick one up on Sunday.
2. Find a few other men or women to walk through this book with. A good place to start would be with someone in your Community Group.
3. If you are not connected with a Community Group or would like us to help you connect with someone, email us at the email below.
4. Plan to begin in February and you will finish by the end of the year.

NOTE – Discipleship Essentials will not replace our usual Spring and Fall Community Groups. Rather, it will enhance our groups by forming some stronger relationships in the midst of our existing groups.

As our church family grows, our serving teams must grow as well. Our heart is for you to discover your gifts and use them to serve the church family and further the mission God has given us. Start by letting us know what team(s) you’re interested in by emailing us at the email link below. Also plan to attend Growth Track.

Here is a list of our current teams: Kids Ministry (GraceLand Kids), Office (admin/secretarial work), Hospitality, Pastoral Care, Technical Production (audio/visual), Worship, Communications/Social Media, Usher, Youth Ministry, Facilities/Property, Adult/Seniors Ministry, “Get Stuff Done”, Events, Photography/Graphic Design.
